Yes indeed. They are just two different names for the same thing.
Well,
you might have heard that Caribbean odds are highly in favor of the house.
Although this may be true, some people find this to be more of a challenge,
and for this reason, we find hordes of people playing. Similarly, Free
Ride odds, although slightly better than Caribbean odds, still pose the
threat of a severe house edge. So the answer to this question, is: not
to well.
Although
the last answer compared Free Ride to another poker variant, Caribbean,
the games are quite different. In fact, the very nature of Free Ride is
quite unique. In Free Ride, players do not aim to beat the dealer's hand,
or even the other players' hands for that matter. They merely have to
compile a winning poker hand. In this aspect, Free Ride is more like video
poker than any table game.
This is a sensitive issue. Although it may seem like a game of skill,
the odds are so difficult in this game that it makes it very hard to win
in the end. The original game of Poker offers much better odds. Unless
you can play flawlessly, and most people can't do anything flawlessly,
you should quit after winning in this game.
